You stood by me thru thick and thin

Especially on days that did me in

Never once did you complain or wish me gone

WIth your strength I could go on

The love you gave me I could not repay

It helped me thru til my dying day

You stood by me when love wasn't enough

Gave all your heart when things got tough

I could not pay you any price

For saving me once and saving me twice

On those days when you miss me most
