The Dog Door Series has been inspired by the losses by my friends on the Internet. The first of the series I cannot
remember why I wrote it. I do know it was probably the first piece I wrote after my accident so my memory there is very
vague. However , each of the others that followed were written for the dear departed pets of some very special friends. Each
of these animals had touched my life with their lives and their loss of life. I wrote these poems from the heart and
only wished to help those who were grieving.
